After Monte Rosa the next objective of the team is Cymru Taith. The team is going to have a race per day until the sign up of Cymru Taith, in a desperate attempt to get the so much needed points. Even Luan Zhanpeng, usually with captain role for hilly races, will now help Élvio Aguiar as team mate for the next races.
The team’s cobbler department will move to Belgium to participate on day 29 in the newly made classic Turnai – Turnai. There are rumors that the cobbler department of the team will be closed soon, so this might be the last race for Clarindo Portela on the team.
At the same time all climbing department will move to Norway to participate in three races. These races are Øyer Climbs, Åsane Grand Prix G3 ans Åsane Grand Prix G2, on day 30 and 32, respectively. The team will be in full strength for these races as they are the best chances for the team to get the required points for qualifying for Cymru Taith.
Élvio Aguiar will have no rest as he will lead the team in Norway and between the two days of races will take a quick trip to France where he will race in Coustouges ITT, a climbing time-trial where he did well last season finishing in fifth place.
In other news the team announces the departure of Aguinaldo Leão to the Swiss team Siporex for a fee of 41k. Although he is a promising hilly-climber rider the lack of funds to train him quickly made the team’s management sell him to give him the opportunity to develop his skills. We wish him best of luck in his new team.
